Hephaestus Weapons are the ultimate weapons CW Flyff has to offer! They can be obtained by trading with the Hephaestus' Scholar NPC in Central Flaris by the Public Office in exchange for:
x1 Hematite-soaked Creation Stone (obtained through Craft of Hephaestus, Eldeon's Castle Raid, trading for Eldeon Parchment, or purchased from the perin NPC in Flaris).
x1 Hephaestus Armament Construction Plan (obtained through Craft of Hephaestus)
When first crafted, Hephaestus weapons will be at 0 stars, and will have only a fraction of their full power. In order to unlock the first 6 stars, you must obtain Creation Tokens, which are created by trading Ultimate+10 (or Angelic) weapons from each of the Master Dungeons (plus one from Ankou's Asylum), in conjunction with a Sigil, which are obtained from the same dungeons but only in Hard Mode (after Milestone 4).
Re-rolling a 0-star Hephaestus Weapon has no advantage over rolling a 7-star Hephaestus Weapon, since you roll on the total range, not the current range. For more information, see Weapon reroll.
Hephaestus weapons come in two different "flavors", Bloodbane and Titanebane. The materials required to create them is the same.
Make sure you pick the right one! Hephaestus weapons are expensive to make, so decide beforehand if you're going to craft a Bloodbane or Titanbane weapon.
After acquiring the Token, you can use the Star Weapon Upgrade option at the Hephaestus' Scholar to add stars to your weapon.
The 7th and final star can only be unlocked with the Froildraeth's Sigil, which is acquired through the Dark Trails dungeon.
For Classes that use two weapons or a one-handed weapon with a shield, you only need one token per set of stars. You can exchange one weapon Token for 2 Token Shards at the Hephaestus' Scholar.
In Season 5, Hephaestus Weapons were retuned to have 7 stars instead of 6 stars. Hephaestus Weapons crafted before Season 5 are marked as [Legacy] and only have 6 stars.
[Legacy] Hephaestus Weapons only require a weapon token (no sigil) to increase the star count, up to 6, but a 6 Star Legacy weapon has the same stat range as a 7 Star Hephaestus Weapon. There is no functional difference between a fully upgraded 7 Star weapon and a fully upgraded [Legacy] 6 Star weapon!
Rerolling stats is also identical on both.
Bloodbane weapons are the damage variant of Hephaestus Weapons, giving a massive stat boost (up to 150) on your primary stats, in addition to other valuable combat stats like Increased Attack% and Increased Critical Damage.
Titanbane weapons, on the other hand, are the "tank" variant of Hephaestus Weapons, giving large amounts of STA as well as HP%. These weapons can be invaluable to Damage Dealer (DD) classes in dungeons, allowing them to survive attacks that would otherwise one-shot them.
