Mentalist Gear Guide

Mentalists only have a single gear route, which focuses on maximizing damage. To achieve this, you'll prioritize 100% DCT > Attack % > INT > everything else.

Level 1

While all of these are items you can equip at level 1, many of them will not be feasibly obtainable until level 150+. If you're gearing your first character, please check back as you progress, but don't worry about getting these early on.

  • +20 INT buff pet

• Jewelry

  • Adept jewelry set from Savage Wilds

• Fashion Sets

  • Wise Dragon King set from Dragon Set NPC in Northern Flaris for 500 perins

  • Wise Cash Shop sets also from Dragon Set NPC for 750 CWT

• Masks

  • Hero Glasses (INT) from VP chance box

• Cloaks

  • Dark Devil's Cloak of Magic from CWT mythical ticket or chance boxes

  • Skeleton Devil's Cloak from chance boxes

  • Blessed Cloak of Intelligence from CWT

  • Bandit's Cloak from VP chance box

Level 45

At level 45, you'll be using beginner chip gear from Solarius.

• Teba Set from Solarius in Northern Flaris
• (Optional) Branch of Rhisis from Solarius

Level 60

At level 60, you'll be using beginner chip weapons from Solarius.

• Guardian Wand from Solarius in Northern Flaris

• You can use any shield

Level 105

At level 105, all your gear can be found from the Dekane Mines solo dungeon. From level 105 onward, Slayers will primarily use Axes due to their better Attack per STR scaling, and substats.

• Legendary Golden Wand & Mekaron Set from Dekane Mines

Level 120

At level 120 you have some optional choices. The Twilight Set is a more defensive set and can give you some much needed survivability, as well as boost your DCT (Decreased Casting Time) by 5%. A Vampire Wand will give you a huge boost of power, but a Bloody Wand is an acceptable substitute for survability.

• (Optional) Twilight Set from Red Meteonyker

Level 121-H

If you didn't pick up a Vampire Wand, you can pick up Ancient Wand at Level 121-H. However, this is an optional luxury upgrade.

Level 130-H

At level 130, you have two sets to pick from. Ultimately, the difference in damage between the Reffiro Set and the Altered Cryptic Reffiro Set is fairly small, so you can opt for whichever set is cheaper to complete.

• Grimore of the Risen from Razgul
• (Optional) Reffiro Set from Catacombs of Anguish
• (Optional) Altered Cryptic Reffiro Set from Kalgas' Cave

Level 150 AR25

All classes at AR25 will pursue their Blessed & Cursed gear.

• Cursed Reffiro Set and jewels from Blessed/Cursed Exchange

Level 150 AR50

All classes at AR50 will pursue their Hephaestus weapons.

• Bloodbane Wand & Book (Hephaestus weapon)

Level 150 AR75

All classes at AR75 will pursue their Yggdrasil set.

• Yggdrasil Mentalist set from Reonan
• (Optional) Luxury Hairband (ATK + 7%) from Challenges
• (Optional) Yggdrasil Mentalist Mask from Reonan
