Arcanist Gear Guide

Arcanists are one of the easiest classes to understand, since their damage scales almost purely off of INT. For Arcanist, you'll prioritize 100% DCT > INT > Attack% > everything else.

Arcanist's spell damage comes mostly from raw INT rather than from attack rating, since Staff attack rating scales off STR.

Level 1

While all of these are items you can equip at level 1, many of them will not be feasibly obtainable until level 150+. If you're gearing your first character, please check back as you progress, but don't worry about getting these early on.

  • Wise Dragon King set from Dragon Set NPC in Northern Flaris for 500 perins

  • Wise Cash Shop sets also from Dragon Set NPC for 750 CWT

• Masks

  • Hero Glasses (INT) from VP chance box

• Cloaks

  • Dark Devil's Cloak of Magic from CWT mythical ticket or chance boxes

  • Blessed Cloak of Intelligence from CWT

  • Skeleton Devil's Cloak from chance boxes

Level 45

At level 45, you'll be using beginner chip gear from Solarius.

• Teba Set from Solarius in Northern Flaris
• (Optional) Stick of Vel Parpone from Solarius

Level 60

At level 60, you'll be using beginner chip weapons from Solarius.

• Guardian Staff from Solarius in Northern Flaris

Level 105

At level 105, all your gear can be found from the Dekane Mines solo dungeon.

• Legendary Golden Staff from Dekane Mines
• Shurian Set from Dekane Mines

Level 120

At level 120 you have some optional choices. The Nanemvis Set will give you more survivability and DCT as well as damage. You can also choose to upgrade to the Bloody or Vampire Staff, with the latter providing a huge boost in damage.

• (Optional) Bloody Staff from Red Meteonyker
• (Optional) Nanemvis Set from Red Meteonyker

Level 80-M

If you didn't pick up a Bloody Staff and opted out of the Vampire Staff, the Lusaka's Crystal Staff is a much cheaper option.

• (Optional) Lusaka's Crystal Staff from Savage Wilds

Level 121-H

If you still don't have a staff, the Ancient Staff is a great pickup for the Hero Dungeons, but it's a luxury upgrade over Lusaka's Crystal Staff.

Level 130-H

At level 130, you have two sets to pick from. Ultimately, the difference in damage between the Lippin Set and the Altered Mystic Lippin Set is fairly small, so you can opt for whichever set is cheaper to complete.

• (Optional) Altered Mystic Lippin Set from Kalgas' Cave

Level 150 AR25

All classes at AR25 will pursue their Blessed & Cursed gear.

• Blessed Lippin Set and jewels from Blessed/Cursed Exchange

Level 150 AR50

All classes at AR50 will pursue their Hephaestus weapons.

• Bloodbane Staff (Hephaestus weapon)

Level 150 AR75

All classes at AR75 will pursue their Yggdrasil set.

• (Optional) Luxury Hairband (ATK + 7%) from Challenges
• (Optional) Yggdrasil Arcanist Mask from Reonan
