Details: Weapon Frame Data

How many frames does it take to complete one attack? And maybe more importantly, why should I even care? Well, there are a few reasons you might want to know...

  • When comparing damage across classes.

    • For example, if a Forcemaster hits 1m per hit compared to a Crackshooter who hits 1.5m per hit, the Forcemaster's effective DPS may be higher due to it attacking nearly twice as fast.

  • When evaluating what weapon to use against World Bosses and in Hunters Games.

    • In instances where damage is hard-capped, it may be more effective to swap to a faster weapon, even if you would normally deal less damage. For example, an end-game crackshooter has (much) higher DPS in Hunter Games with a clean Level 1 sword than with a perfectly rolled Angelic+20 Tartaros Bow. Am I mad about that? No, why do you ask?

  • Because you're just curious.

    • Sure, Harlequins hit faster than Slayers, but how much faster? Now you know.

In Clockworks FlyFF, attack speed for Slayer is the same regardless of whether you have a sword or axe in your mainhand, so axes are typically recommended for better STR -> Attack scaling.

Here's the weapon frame data (from fastest to slowest) for auto attacking with each weapon in Clockworks FlyFF.
