Guild Fees
Introduction
The Guild Weekly Fee System is an optional feature that allows guild leaders to create a transparent, contribution-based rank system. Members pay weekly fees to obtain and maintain their guild rank, with all payments going directly into the guild bank.
Enabling the Fee System
For Guild Masters
Open the Guild Window (default: G key)
Navigate to the Fees tab
Toggle the Enable Fee System option
Configure the payment amounts for each rank
Click Save to apply changes
The fee system is disabled by default. Guilds can operate normally without ever enabling it.
Rank Structure
The fee system uses the existing guild rank hierarchy:
Rookie
Default rank for all members
Free (no payment)
Supporter
Entry-level paid rank
Set by Guild Master
Captain
Mid-tier rank
Set by Guild Master
Kingpin
Highest paid rank
Set by Guild Master
Master
Guild leader
Exempt from fees
Rank Permissions
Each rank grants different permissions within the guild. Hover over any rank icon in the Fees tab to see a tooltip showing exactly what that rank can do:
Rookie: Basic membership, limited permissions
Supporter: May include: use guild buffs, access guild house
Captain: May include: invite members, manage furniture
Kingpin: May include: promote members, create events, withdraw funds
Actual permissions depend on how the Guild Master has configured them in the Permissions tab.

When It Happens
Every Monday at 00:00 server time, the following occurs:
All ranks reset to Rookie
Weekly payment status is cleared
Members must pay again to regain their rank
Guild Master Exemption
Guild Masters are always exempt from the fee system:
Never need to pay
Always maintain Master rank
Cannot be demoted by the system
Leaving and Rejoining
If you leave or are kicked from the guild:
Your lifetime contribution is preserved
When you rejoin the same guild, your history is restored
You start the current week as Rookie (must pay again)
Your lifetime total picks up where it left off
Note: Joining a different guild starts you fresh with no history.
Best Practices
For Guild Masters
Set reasonable fees - Consider your members' income levels
Communicate expectations - Let members know fees are optional
Configure permissions fairly - Make paid ranks feel worthwhile
Monitor the guild bank - Fees add up quickly
For Members
Pay early in the week - Enjoy full week of benefits
Check permissions first - Know what you're paying for
Consider your playtime - Casual players may prefer Rookie
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if I can't pay one week? A: Nothing bad! You simply stay at Rookie rank until you pay. There are no penalties or punishments.
Q: Can I get a refund if I paid by mistake? A: No, all payments are final and go directly to the guild bank. However your Guild Master could send you the money back and reset your rank.
Q: Does the Guild Master see who paid? A: Yes, the member list shows payment status for the current week.
Q: What if the Guild Master disables the system mid-week? A: Current ranks are preserved until the next weekly reset.
Q: Can I be kicked for not paying? A: That's up to your Guild Master. The system itself has no automatic kicks.
Q: Do fees count toward my contribution stats? A: Yes, fee payments are added to your lifetime contribution total.
