2FA Login
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a new security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your FlyFF account. Instead of relying solely on your username and password, 2FA requires a second verification step, a unique one-time code generated by an authentication app.
Even if someone gains access to your password, they cannot log in without this second factor.
How It Works
When you enable 2FA, your account becomes linked to a mobile authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator). Each time you log in, you will:
Enter your username and password as usual.
Be prompted for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
Enter the code, if it’s valid, you’ll be logged in immediately.
The code changes every 30 seconds and is unique to your device.
How to Enable 2FA
Enter your account and password as usual
Instead of clicking on Login, you will click the small icon next to the Login button

A small window will show you the status of your account. If 2FA is not enabled yet, you can press the button to enable it.

A QR code will be shown, that you can scan with your Authenticator app. After you've scanned it and set it up, enter the One-Time-Password the app shows you to complete the setup.

Logging In With 2FA
When you start the game:
Enter your username and password.
The 2FA window will appear.

Open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code.
Optionally, you can save the current device for 30 days and it will not require any 2FA verification anymore.
Once verified, your login will complete.
How to Disable 2FA
If you no longer wish to use Two-Factor Authentication (for example, when switching to a new phone or authenticator app), you can easily disable it through the in-game 2FA menu.
Enter your username and password as usual.
Click the 2FA button on the login screen.
A window will appear showing your current 2FA status.
Click Disable 2FA.
Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to confirm.
If the code is correct, 2FA will be successfully disabled for your account.
Note: You can re-enable 2FA at any time by following the setup process again.
Lost Your 2FA Access?
If you lose access to your authenticator app, you'll need to recover your account by opening a ticket on Discord. After we verify you are the rightful owner of the account, we can disable 2FA on your account.
